Vision and Reality
If the learning goal were achieved in the most ideal of perfect worlds it would look something like:
Students will be researching different roles and have an engaging debate over what perspective their group will present to the class. Hopefully some in depth thinking will be occuring and some opinions will be changed.
However, what I anticipate probably looks more like:
Based on the Vision set for this activity, the actual reality is more likely to be the vision. I am being optimistic about this one!! The hardest part will probably getting them to be creative and argue their point effectivly to their small group even if they are shy. They have to totally buy into their role and support it.
