Introduction

Elections are a key time when political parties make many promises regarding a range of issues. What do you think are the key issues for November 2002? Whose policies do you support?

Using the sites below you have the opportunity to compare the policies of the major parties in the areas of Health, Education and Water.

You are then required to devise your own policy on the issue you are most interested in and present it to the class as a campaign speech.

  2. Which Policy would you support? Justify your answer.

  1. Construct a concept map identifying the key issues surrounding both parties Health Policies.

  1. Analyze the ALP and Liberal Party Education Policies. Compare the key issues, funding allocation and future direction of each policy.
